Happy Snowman Feb. 2012

It's been awhile since I've shared, basically because my computer at home is so darn slow. And I'm lazy. We're well into the winter of 2011-2012, with very little snow. We got some the other day. My snowman felt like doing a jig!!

Summer Time Flowers

I love the summer. I love the light, and the long days the warm weather and the sunshine. I love how it stays light until 9 at night. After a work day is over I feel like I have all the time in the world to get done what I want to get done in daylight before darkness closes in. Even the nights are not opressive, they can be warm and fragrant and romantic. I'm not ready to let summer go.

Summer at The Dells

I've been very lazy keeping up with my blog journal, celebrating the seasons. We went to the Dells for a brief summer vacation. The waterparks were fun, and it was relaxing in the jacuzzi with my fruity cocktails. This was the last morning we were there. Beautiful and peaceful.

Easter Egg Decorating Contest

You know, as my boyfriend said, sometime we party, and then other times, we decorate eggs as a family. My little red riding hood egg came in 2nd. Gillian's orange egg and Jacob's blue egg were tied for first. Happy Easter!!

Blizzard Feb 2, 2011

This was the view out my back door this morning. Three foot drifts outside the door. I shovelled a little area in my pajamas this morning so my dog Pancho could do his business. Took me an hour to clear a path from the garage to the front of the house. This is more snow than we've had in a long time.

Winter Time Fun

Went "sledding" the other day. Used one of those cheap plastice saucers. What am I doing? I'm old. I felt every little bump in my rear end. I tried out my ice skates today. That was fun. Hope to do more of that if the weather cooperates. They are saying it's going to be in the 40's and rain this weekend.
